Israeli defense system shoots down Gaza mortar fire

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile shield shot down a barrage of mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip on Tuesday after sirens sounded in southern Israel, warning residents to find shelter.
