Addressing North Korea Requires a Joint U.S.-Chinese Effort

When negotiating with North Korea, the aim should be a grand bargain instead of incremental solution. When President Donald Trump accepted the oral invitation to have a meeting sent with North Korea’s leader Kim Jung-un, China, like other countries, was very surprised. Now we have a very good chance of reaching a denuclearization agreement, in which China and the United States need to cooperate closely more than ever before.
